Christmas Time

For a date last Friday, we made gingerbread houses using graham crackers. It was pretty fun and something I hadn’t done for a few years. The first image is mine –the “traditional looking” candy house. The second image is my date’s house. Why does it look so different, you may ask? She served an LDS mission in Nicaragua where their houses look quite different from ours. She wanted to pay tribute to the people she met down there. To tell the truth, there might not have been any gumdrops added to the house if it weren’t for Christmas time!

All in all, it was a lot of fun.
